german m16 helmet

hello what do you think about this one?i havent got in hand and for this moment these photos are my only unfortunately.
i'm genrally little suspicious when i see this colour of rust,also the dirt is looking for m a little unnatural but maybe this is only my forethought.i'm not certain is it a photo effect but general shape of helmet is also little strange,what do you think?
