    Have a photo of the helmet when dug ? Looks like an M35 to me.
    Is the rear end of the leather restitched ? The thread looks very white and clean.

    No. But I know who dug it up. I will be posting more soon.

    The man who found the helmet stitched the liner so it would dry faster. The stitching can be easily removed.
