    thanks so much steve ,bob and ty ! again nice to here from you all and iam trying to get better..things are just ok right now but were pretty bad there...take care guys and talk soon as i will get back on later..i found a bunch of buttons also never seen anything like them..

    what can i use to try to just clean the sa on the handle?dont want to mess with anything else but it looks like there is a bunch of crap on it?ok,maybe i should just let it be for the next owner?thanks guys!

    That is a nice flask Pammy. Eric is correct - it contains lead 'shot'
    for a flintlock, or more than likely a mid 1800's era percussion
    muzzle loading Long gun. The shot is supposed to be
    let out in measured loads with the lever attached
    to the side of the tube. Very cool !

    Interesting button collection as well. There is quite
    an assortment, plus there might be a few rare
    and valuable ones in the group.

    thanks eric,they are realy nice looking the ones you posted ! steve ,thanks as i was not sure if it had gun powder that should be taken out or its ok to leave in as dont know anything abought gun powder/stuf..one day i will try to get pictures of the buttons as i just thought they all looked interesting so i picked then up.thanks again guys and i realy missed you ! glad to be back on ! hopfuly i can start finding more neat things to share?well,have a great night and talk to you tommorow !
