    I am not a big fan of the lid. The decal does not look right and the color is off. Could be from the acid cleaning or contrived or both.

    I agree that the helmet has been cleaned which has affected the paint and decal. But i still like what i see.

    Paintwork does look somewhat bleached out by chemical treatment.

    for me it looks like the helmet was in contact with oxalic acid for too long.
