Just picked up this M40

Article about: Hello thanks for looking. I just picked up this M40, its salty but has been there done that look. To me it looks like it got hot at one point. Thanks Curt

    That Big Foot has been through a fairly harsh environment or poor storage. Liner looks like possible blood deterioration.

    Was probably found quite corroded from poor shed/barn storage and has been cleaned up and maybe waxed.
    Still a nice salty specimen!

    It appears to have the original rough finish paint darkened a bit with some kind of preservative. I like it. NH
