KM Camo Twins
I acquired a KM M35 camo helmet, with direct vet provenance from the 29th Division who recovered a KM helmet in the Rhineland. A KM camo is rare enough but fellow collector I know well picked up what looked like its identical twin a couple years ago from a dealer site.
I was able to acquire his KM camo via way of a trade that we both liked, and these 2 helmets together, there is no doubt these 2 helmets were camoed at the same place, same time, and named using the same handwriting and implement.
Both helmets are named in the liner as well, Hechaus and Glanert. THe Glanert KM camo also has a very rare KM marked chinstrap (no pics sorry forgot to take one)
Obkerieger wanted to see the latest pickup so there you go!
Cheers
Doug
