    When I saw this and the Heer last night over at GHW I as floored. What a great untouched example. Can't upgrade this....

    Any chance the chinstrap is a "Wilhelm Ellers" maybe 1941 dated ?? Just a guess

    Negative - it is a ftb 44 = Maker code LLG in Karlsruhe-Hagsfeld
