Luftschutz NS beaded M40

Hi folks , I'm a bit out of my comfort zone with steel helmets but as this one was a good price I thought it was worth a punt . Its an M40 beaded Luftschutz helmet maked NS for manufacturer Vereinigte Deutsche Nickelwerke /Schwerte in a size 64 with a liner size of 57 Lot #630 . The colour blue is a shade darker than the photos suggest with a bit of paint loss to the crown caused by falling hot ash or phosphorous maybe ? also slight damage to the decal. Liner is in near mint condition showing minor wear as is the presstoff chinstrap complete with its steel black enamelled buckle. I've had a good look around the forum & all looks good to my eyes look forward to your comments good or bad ,Regards ,Paul
