(Mobilmachung-1.1.1940) 6. Reserve-Flak-Batterie leichte Reserve-Flak-Batterie 402,
dann 6. Reserve-Flak-Batterie 7,65 cm, dann 3. Batterie Reserve-Flak-Abteilung 504,
(1.3.1942-7.9.1942) 3. Batterie schwere Flak-Abteilung 504,
(12.3.1943-7.9.1943) 3. Batterie gemischte Flak-Abteilung 504 (v).

A good looking Luftwaffe overpaint. Leon.

Re: Luftwaffe SE M-40
Yeah the "L" is for Luftwaffe and the number is a feldpost number. Mo beat me to listing the details but what he posted is the unit the owner of the helmet belonged to and of course his last name is printed before that.

Re: Luftwaffe SE M-40
Very nice lid! Michaelis is a surname, and not typical American, but in Europe (Germany) too.

Re: Luftwaffe SE M-40
I like this one! The Adler is nicely ghosted through the paint.
