Unfortunately the condition of this find is poor.

thanks for the answer! This is a Wehrmacht helmet (with an eagle) 100% I can take other photos where the eagle is visible! helmet found on the Leningrad front in the dugout!

indeed can see an eagle, maybe the soldier bought the national flag decal?
i heard you could buy these as a soldier so wouldn't surprise me if some soldiers did this
