M35 DD Polizei, 1936 dated Q

Just picked up this beauty, thanks Paul!! Q66 batch #2922.
It is one of the best conditioned Police helmets I have seen, just the scratches on the party shield that are a bit boring.
Everything 1936 dated, chin strap, faint dome stamp and single aluminum liner band.
The writing in the liner by the vet says "June 8, 1944 St. Mere-Eglise Normandy"
How cool aint that....

Also 2 pictures with another M35 DD Polizei Q helmet in my collection.
That one is pictured in Ludwig Baer's book "History of the German steel helmet 1915-45". Page:257

Well thats like looking at one thats just come straight out of the factory, i can honestly say i have never seen one like that , as for those annoying scratches, i think i could put up with that all day long on a helmet like this, thanks for sharing Anders
