M35 et64 lot#4306 combat police

Hi Guys
No exciting story with this one. I usually pride myself on sourcing some good helms on my own (a Heer M40 in an Antique place .. A rare KM Example from a small US Militaria mom and pop shop). But this was listed on a well known dealer site. I have wanted a green helmet for awhile now. Ever since I saw the green peeking out of my M35 Heer reissue (pictured at bottom) I thought "I wonder what that looked like?" So now I know

I went back and forth with the decals on this one and I realized that ET Polizei decals must have 50 different minute and miniscule variations. I believe them to be good ones indeed. This is the nicest helmet condition-wise that I have in my collection by far. So wishing everyone a nice weekend and thanks for looking

Dan it is a splotch of paint.... and almost exactly all the way around perfectly where the liner tounges sit there is a splotch. Almost like numbers on a clock. They go around in a semi circle on one side. Not full way around (think 12 - 6). Almost like a guide (completely guessing and talking out of my bum) to put the liner in ? No idea. Thanks for pointing it out
