Re: M35 Heer helmet - mint
An amazing M-35 from top to bottom after so many years it makes one contemplate what is still hidden away behind closed cabinets and doors that may never see the light of day in the collectors community.

Very nice looking helmet. I wouldn't say it's mint. I has a few issues with scratches and handling marks. Still.........it's a beauty I'd like to own.
You are hard to please !! haha

I was going to comment too but I didn't really see the point....... the relevant stats speak for themselves

Re: M35 Heer helmet - mint
Many of you have said, this helmet has no "history," no "character" because it was apparently never used in combat. But it does have a story behind it. How did this helmet get through WWII without ever being issued? Where has it been for 67 years? What were the circumstances that brought it to light? The answers to those questions would be an interesting history. It's a sort of Franz von Werra helmet, "The One Who Got Away." Dwight

What stats are those Andy?? It’s only a comment in jest; it’s not a serious thread is it???? It’s like being on the WAF haha
Seriously though, although not my cup of tea (old British Colonial ), it’s a superb example, one must be being somewhat pedantic describing it as “ not mint “….anyways, it’s not important, I am sure it will look great in Doug’s Christmas stocking, or perhaps I should say his wife’s haha
