M35 SD Heer Helmet Q62 #4780

Just got this in the mail today. Bought it off of eBay...again! It is an M35 that according to the lot number book was Issued after 1940. Hence the 1940 date stamped liner band and split pins and no sign of a national shield. It has a nice but slightly damaged Big Foot Q Decal. Also has a near mint liner named to a "Dunnwald" I believe the chinstrap to be norwegian but the guy that had it prior said that it came with the helmet when he bought it 20-25 years ago at a flea market. So it will stay with the helmet. Overall a nice helmet and my first ever Heer Q.

Most stuff I keep. Some stuff I buy to sell to raise money to buy stuff I want to keep. I dont have a job that makes all that much money so that is pretty much the hobby for me. And you know as well as I do that this hobby isn't cheap.

I think I have seen a few of these for sale as well. Its a small community. All good. I was buying and selling some American ones earlier in year. I find it to be a hassle personally. Post Offices in city are a nightmare but that's not the case everywhere I guess. I'm a collector anyway

The items I was flipping I just posted them for sale though. Straight to video right onto their own for sale links. No need for anyone to review them here or beforehand. Usually people are posting items in their collections here, they are excited ... want opinions and we all try to buttress each others enthusiasm and excitement for this hobby. Also we have to give the bad news sometimes.
