M40 bought late 80's original decals?

i bought this helmet around 1989/1990.i'm not sure about the decals.can anyone tell me more about this? thanks,wiking

Fake. They even forgot to paint the section between the eagle's legs black

Fake decals as said but also over a heavily pitted relic shell so any liner inside is not original either

I will say they are some of the worst decals I've ever seen.

Hope you aren't out of pocket a lot with this one. An original M40 shell with additions as already said.
