Re: M40 Heer
Up to you on this one nick. I concur with the others.

Re: M40 Heer
Everything looks original. I'd say that the liner might not be original to the helmet, but it is from the period nonetheless. If the price is right, go for it!

Re: M40 Heer
Hi Nick,as the others have said, the liner pins have been re-placed.That said a nice ET M40 shell with a good ET type HEER decal and a good condition period liner. If the price is right, snap it up!! Leon.

Re: M40 Heer
I saw this one for sale as well Nick, I agree with all above but thought the price was still a little steep for a 'put together' helmet. Just my opinion - others may disagree,
Cheers, Chris.

Re: M40 Heer
i would recommend requesting shots of the liner pin washers to see (a) if there are any and, (b) if the legs of the liner pins have been re-bent.
Other than that she's a solid looking combat shell and a good size too!
I picked up a 2nd pattern AK Pith and a double decal M35 Lufty last week...must get around to taking some shots when the missus goes out! (That makes 3 lids I have on display and another 5 in the 'storeroom of secrets')

Re: M40 Heer
Sweet! Can't wait to see it when it arrives!
Question: What size socks do you need to hide an ET66 in?
