I guess Camos are having a moment right now (haha. Dunno why I keep saying that). Here’s a new one. Its a nice Luft M40 with 2 Colors - Green and Brick Red. The base blue of the Luft creates a nice effect as well. I had seen this one for awhile and thought it would be perfect for my first Camo. Simple.

I passed this by the Amigos 1st for opinions in addition to my own obsservations which I saw that this one has a nice natural uncleaned patina on the exterior, pins looked good to me as well as the Interior looks untouched in any way. The natural rim wear we like to see. The leather has darkened but the condition is still nice and soft. It came without a strap but felt compelled to complete this one (one from a old WRF alumni). It is an EF62 Lot#11514. I cannot see a decal but perhaps there is one underneath.

    Thanks for looking!

V nice could be ground troops or transport corps. I have a shell only, painted same green and with a feldpost number to a driver painted in the dome.

Awesome Dan. And I guess driving was extremely dangerous business .... especially later in the war. Park on side of the road (if they had time), grab helmet, run for cover and duck into the woods. Thanks for posting it

These helmets were known to be worn by members of the Kris Kringle Regiment and were easily identified by the Christmas Green and Red. Elves in civilian times until they took up arms
