First glance, it looks fine but I would want a clear straight on photo of the decal.
Can't see much but looks to be an ET style. Could be wrong which is why better photos are needed.
Based on my reference materials, this is not unheard of on EF helmets. It is an early EF M40 with the low lot #. Franks Lot # database has two within this lot # range with ET style decals as well.

I would say its good, but i have much to learn about decals, so i would wait for other opinions.

Don't worry about the split rivet pins - they are often slightly different shades of paint to the shell - they were painted separately and fitted from ( I guess ) a big box where they certainly would NOT have been colour coordinated.
Remember, this is/was a utilitarian piece of kit, and NOT a fashion statement!
