This one landed (no pun intended, HA!

) today. Too bad about the strap and liner or it would have been a very decent helmet Lot # DN260.

Maybe 'corpse cut' going by the chinstrap & liner????? If so, that adds to the story IMO and I wouldn't be swapping out the liner.

I don't think I will be doing anything to it. It's what it is. If it didn't have any leather or liner pins I could see putting in some period leather.

Nice Q Todd, I would be tempted to put leather in only,the felt cushion is there and a bit of creative stitching with a nicely aged original leather will enhance the helmet no end,plus there's no need to remove the three liner pins
