Hi Jim...I dont collect helmets but I find it amazing to see such rarities in this hobby and I thought I have seen alot of helmet branches ...this one I never seen before. Impressive

Thank you for posting this NSKK helm Jim. From the decal picture in #1 there appears to be a rectangular area surrounding the NSKK Adler and script? Is this surviving paint or it this part of the decal? Or is it just my eyes deceiving me?

Good eye! There was a Luft Adlern the piece originally. You can see remnants of the right wing in the top right area if the decal picture. Jim G.

Nskk and Rad were all Heer or LW helmets first so they will always have that decal under the overpaint.
