I acquired this one at least 10 years ago - a decent M40 single decal NSKK helmet. It is an EF62 complete with a nice liner and a shortened chin strap. The lot number appears to be 115(?) but it is really hard to be sure. The decal, on the other hand, is a no doubt original NSKK transfer. Certainly not a mint piece by any stretch but is a decent example of a fairly rare helmet. Hope you like it. Jim G.

Neat! I can say with certainty I've definitely never seen one of these in person - and probably never will. Great rare lid!

Another rare one in your collection Jim. I don't think I've ever seen one in person!

Thank you for posting this NSKK helm Jim. From the decal picture in #1 there appears to be a rectangular area surrounding the NSKK Adler and script? Is this surviving paint or it this part of the decal? Or is it just my eyes deceiving me?

Good eye! There was a Luft Adlern the piece originally. You can see remnants of the right wing in the top right area if the decal picture. Jim G.

Nskk and Rad were all Heer or LW helmets first so they will always have that decal under the overpaint.
