Bright sun will make that one go full blown pink, no doubt about it. A great addition Michael, congratulations.

Thanks Gents. Appreciate the feedback.
@Bothi: Glad you liked the other ones as well. One is a dark mustard tan and the other is actually a 3 color Normandy style but with a very light spray of the other two colors
@John: Yes. I'm just waiting for the sun to come out. Rain forecasted for the next couple of days. In hand you can really feel the Pink. Was just hard to capture today. More photos to come
@ Jim: I'm sure you have a few similar in one of your storage units ! LoL
@ Rusty: Your too young to covet.
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated

Great helmet! It looks even better than the first photo you sent me! I can definitely see the "pink" a lot more when it's next to the light tan and dark tan helmets a great example of a DAK helmet, and variation of the camo paint used in the different theaters.

Wow Michael! That's a nice one. Congrats on adding it to your collection.

Lovely patina to that helmet Michael. If I could add a photo from December 1941, outside the POW camp at Trobruk run by the NZ Army, the pile of DAK helmets grows showing an interesting range in tones. Something to consider for those skeptical of "pink" helmets.

Very lovely. Agree with the above. That grouping photo clearly shows a different (pinky) animal. Very nice. I know you were psyched about this one even when in previous owner hands.
Welcome Dak. I mean welcome Back to WWII Helms
