Thank you guys for opinions. I asked about the split pins. One is loose, moving a bit. Other two are tight, but there is a small gap between them and the shell ... Is it OK ?

Would still like to see clear close up photos of each of the exterior rivets to determine if it is black paint or not.
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated
My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them

No double bends to those rivets .......

I will get better pictures end of the next week, owner is currently not at home. Why are all 3 a problem ?
Think it's a very fair priced Helmet for what the seller is asking.i've seen no decal Helmets in Europe hitting 750Euro.
Its simply a matter of weights and force distribution - none of us have worn a 3lb lump of steel on our heads in a combat scenario - and that lump is held to the liner band with THREE relatively thin split metal rivets, arguably the weakest part of the whole assembly. ( No wonder many are loose and some were replaced ) A good ( not always ) indicator of a field replacement is the absence of that tiny washer - a bear to fit at the best of times and often left out.
BUT, if ALL 3 of the rivets are different colours to the helmet itself and/or there are double bends to the rivet legs, and/or there are washers missing, it indicates a swap out of the liner and that is what the guys are saying affects the value of the whole ......
