Medium duty Polizei from the woodwork in 2012

Just picked this one up from a forum member whom bought it in a grouping from the son of a vet.
Size 62 Polizei , two names in pencil on the skirt. This is a rarer Edelstahl model probably worn and used by the Ordnungs Polizei. (general Police force). The sicherheitsdienst also wore this style but with SS decals.
I was happy to add it as I haven't seen too many of these around especially not with decals this nice , too bad about the strap.

Thats a beauty. I like the look of the decals on it. Too bad about the strap or that would be one killer helmet.

Been doing some searches and there seems to be a lot of variety (as we have come to expect from the Germans , they sure were thinking of us collectors back then). I see different liners , different decals , reversed decal application. Even models with the M31 liner and just three rivets. The funny thing is I noticed just from 10 odd topics on GHW.

I was also looking at this one,great helmet Frank.
They come in two color looks like grey and green ,the grey ones are the harder ones to find.
