New German Helmet Book by Jan Meland

Alert!!!! For anyone looking for a quality book on German Helmets

I will be adding this to our Forum Reference Library as soon as I get my copy (I've already ordered it).

I have seen previews of this book and it looks extremely well put together. There are sections on decals, rivets, liners, chinstraps, etc....and yes Helmets as well.

Title: German Helmets 1916-1945

Self Published and Authored by Jan Meland (co author of the well respected "German WWII Helmets and Headgear" book)

Available in English and Norwegian from what I understand.

The format is A4, 210 mm x 297 mm (8.3 x 11.4 inches), 234 pages, aprox 1480 pictures and aprox 165 helmets.

What I have seen is impressive. Jan did a great job and all the information is up to date, the photos superb. I can't wait for my own copy!
