Restored with new liner & paint / decals etc.... not a collectors piece - best suited for a reenactor.

A minefield is dangerous if you do not know where the mines are.

Rear Stamped Quist Helmets should have no Decals, and especially no DD.

I find it a beautiful helmet with a patina and a liner that looks even old as the helmet.
If you like it and the price is not exagerated for a restored item, why not buying it?
    I would.

I think you need to look up what patina is.
People posting here are generally looking for authentic pieces. Calling this a restored item is a stretch.

Well, there is nothing wrong with reproductions, but most here, including me, collect originals because of their historic value, wich any reproduction or refurbished item not longer has.

    So I gave mine.

But sorry: please read "look" instead of "patina". I know you're a specialist and I often refer to your site, that I like very much.
