These are the only shots I have I'm afraid. I tried to zoom in but markings were not visible/clear enough.

Decal is totally scrubbed, helmet is not. Buy it as a no decal helmet not as an SS as the decal is more than likely bad.

Theres evidence of another decal that has been removed as well, i reckon the decal is very suspect as Doug said, ND helmet should be what your looking at and should be priced accordingly

The decal doesn't look right in these pictures but be sure to post more if you receive the close-ups.

The paint, shell, and liner are good.

Never seen a 1942 helmet with the 1938 date or the eagle stamp, very suspicious
