Hey all, just purchased this helmet for very cheap.
When I received it, I found there to be a circle in the front and the first thing that shot in my mind was the bmw logo.

Could this be an original bmw M34?

It is a very beat up helmet though, probably used by some kids post war.
Liner is the late war cloth with a plastic chinstrap.

    Cheers!

yes, found it was repainted 3 times when i removed the liner.

Decals do seem to be original though, were covered underneath both the layer so i carefully removed the paint ontop of them.
will be restoring this one, ofcourse not touching the decals nor the original paint on the inside of the dome.

while removing the post-war paint, i actually found remains of a name in the neck.
since i am too far to stop it, i shall be copying what it says, and once it is in the paint again, rewriting that name.
might not be original but it's the best of the bad options i have... :/
