Original shortened helmet chinstrap with metalband?

Hello
I found this liner inside a Original fire department refurbished M42 shell
The leather is czeck postwar but the linerband and I think the Chinstrap is from WW2
The Band is Stamped 1944 with RBN Nr and the strap have no stamp
Is the Chinstrap original or postwar?
I need your opinions to this strap

a strap is not a complicated object. Even post war straps made for helmets will look a lot like the wartime ones.

The only thing that surprised me, why you imported a German BGS chin strap, shortened it and did not install a more comfortable Tchechian strap
I think he is original because the effort would be too big for the postwartime

100% correct! strap is good wartime strap shortened and different studs added postwar.
