Appears to be a Model 42 with at least one liner pin removed or broken. The colour is odd, would say its been overpainted post war but the pictures are not brilliant.
it is as right as rain. though not the best.
I apologize for the quality of the images, but I made them with an old phone.
I will try to go back and take new pictures with better quality.
But with COVID, it's not easy to get around in the cities of the south of France at the moment.
I will get back to you as soon as possible and thank you for your comments.
Kind regards
I do not like it from these photos. Not one for me.
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated
My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them

Can't say on the helmet as they are all mostly painted. But you could send me the magazines underneath the helmet?
I have a couple of helmets with next to no paint I can lend you Rene if I get the magazines after you.
The paint inside looks a different shade to the outside, but this is possibly down to how the pictures were taken. But the shade of green inside looks very close to the shade used on the post-war West German BGS helmets. And if it is a wartime M42 helmet re-used by the BGS, it is a rare one to find.
Cheers,
Steve
I'll try to get the magazine (both ?) and send it to you
