Possible Hitler Youth helmet decal?

Forgive me for posting this here, as it's not strictly helmet related, and I already have a thread on the item in question here:

However, since the decal in question appears to be a helmet decal, I wonder if I might ask about it. Under a loupe I can see definite signs of saw-tooth edging to the lines, which I know doesn't bode well. On the other hand it appears to have a multi-layer construction, a can be seen in the damaged areas.

My instinct is telling me it's a dud but I appreciate any opinions.
