Quiet m40 big foot eagle helmet

The 'big feet' are a characteristic of Quist decals, and as this is a Quist helmet, the decal would be correct. It looks convincing to me, as does the rest of the helmet. As the lid is an M40, the chinstrap slightly predates its manufacture (it's 1939 at the latest, from what I can make out). But earlier chinstraps were commonly fitted to later helmets, and they were often swapped around and replaced in the field. While I'm by no means a helmet expert, I'd be comfortable purchasing this one. Nothing about it sets alarm bells ringing.

I like it too. From these photos (in hand will confirm) it looks like a solid untouched helmet. I like the fuel cap as well!
