Quist Q66 LW Helmet Real or not

Klinger I am afraid this one is all wrong. Luftwaffe helmets are not green, in fact no German helmets are this color and the decal is a known reproduction.

For my own knowledge, can you point out the features of this decal that flag it as being this particular known fake?

I'd send it back fast , Q M40 Luftwaffe helmets have a nice rough grey blueish paint.

One slight update to what Doug has said. There are green (field grey) Luftwaffe helmets. These are factory re-issues for the Luftwaffe Field Divisions. These will have the exterior only repainted, while the inside will still be blue.

Yes, I meant factory finished all green LW. I have a real nice green overpainted LW felddivisionen marked helmet Ade, it has the net on it if you can see it in the wall o helmets thread LOL.

From the pocked surfaces and red rust/camo, it looks similar to the ones
a seller from Montreal was flogging on E-bay !
