    Hi, it looks like a good early m35 with a very early carbine hook chinstrap.

    Nice rare chin strap. Who is the maker? Is there a dome stamp or can you see a date on the liner band (without damaging it)

    It looks like an early, 100% correct complete M35, with the tri color removed as per the 1940 regulations. A nice been there piece. As said above the chin strap is correct for this early helmet. Jim G.

    Be careful looking for the date on the liner band - don't tug on the strap. These early un reinforced aluminum liner bands are prone to snap near the chin strap bales which is why they started to reinforce them around 1937. Jim G.
