Reverse C CKL64 5645

Presented as I received it.
I believe this was stripped from black because of the steaking and residue in the stamping.
I think the metal liner bands are original,the liner
leather is Czech military installed to deceive collectors perhaps?
The chinstrap short end is riveted but maybe the main strap is ok.
Bearing in mind this seems to have been stripped from black,what do you all think?
Apologies one of my daughters volunteered to wear it but the photo rotation is wrong.

I know RonR has one with this lot number.
"Rhine G.I. art" but no reverse C.
I would love to see pictures of the reverse C listed by Frank in the
database.

It is not uncommon to see misstrikes with lot or maker stamps. Nice gimmick.

I can identify obvious issues like the Czech M53 liner.
As to the paint it has an almost Norwegian shade.

Hi, I would think it unlikely that a Norwegian re-issue would have made it into Czech service, but it certainly looks like the same shade of green as the Norwegians used. Leon.
