SA ????? Helmet

I think this is nothing more than a beaded Luftschutz helmet. It has a black finish instead of blue and the SA insignia is painted on. I am not really a helmet collector, so is there anyway this is a period conversion? Thanks

This is a beaded helmet from luftschutz but the paint and SA are post-war.

Decal looks like it was applied with a crayon ! I wish they were all this easy to detect
