Here's a helmet I got in a trade a month or 2 back with a buddy of mine.

Nothing to special about it, its in rough shape but the decal and liner are still in nice condition. It's no top shelf helmet but I'm pleased with it

Interesting how the side and inside is way better preserved then the top. Especially with that big rust spot. Maybe water dropped on it from above? Still a nice helmet with a very nice looking liner, nice pickup!

I thought about that as well but I think it was just left in a bad place such as an unfinished basement or a garage for a number of years
