Photos leave a lot to be desired. I can't tell if that "brown" color is bare metal or varnish or paint or something else.
Do you know if this is an M40? Or M35? If an M40 it should not have remnants of the national shield. But I'm guessing it is an M35 due to what looks to be single band aluminum liner band
Liner appears to have what we commonly call "blood rot" (but could be from something else) that has damaged it.
Better photos (for me at least) are needed. Every collector has their own price point and desires, so I can only give you my opinion to the best of my ability (with better photos) if it is original.
But if it was me, I would pass, save up and find a nice clean no questions asked example. Might be a bit more expensive.
What is the offering price?

Alright let me try and get some better photos for you I’m sorry about that and yes he said it’s a m-35 and he is asking 200. Is that a horrible price?

If it all checks out, that is cheap. The condition is not desirable to many collectors but not bad for a starter helmet (again, if it checks out)
I am however seeing traces of black and green paint. It might have been overpainted post war and scrubbed back. But better photos will tell.

Photos, as noted, are not very good. However, it strikes me as if it could be a former army helmet that was smooth apple green that was over painted for the Luftwaffe. Kind of taking a shot in the dark due to the small/poor photos. 200 what? I'm assuming $200 but you didn't say and you have no location entered for yourself. $200 is cheap for any original helmet with original paint and liner, even with this undetermined look to it.
I would advise getting better photos and posting them before concluding a deal. The quality of the photos directly affects the quality of our advice.

I’m sorry about that I won’t be able to get more right now but I tried to zoom in more just in case it would help anymore. Thank you for your help.

I zoomed in on some I’m im not sure if it helps any but maybe I’ll get some more hopefully tomorrow (better pictures)

Thanks for trying but will need better original photos. Ask the seller to take outdoor photos out of direct sunlight.
This is what he should strive for
