Here is one of those M35 SE shells issued to 1940 specs. It is a single decal Heer SE 68 complete with a zinc/steel banded liner in near excellent condition and a full length RBN marked strap. The NINE fingered leather liner is inked stamped "58" but that is a mistake as the liner fits my fat head and a size 58 just will not fit on my bean! It is definitely a size 59 liner and appears to me to be factory installed. The lot number is so lightly struck that I can't make it out. The decal has a few chips but displays well. The appears to be the remnants of white wash around the vents but I don't see residual whitewash anywhere else on the shell. Not an exotic nor uncommon helmet but a decent example of a mid War combat piece. Hope you like it. Jim G.
