Single Decal M35 KM - SE66 -Lot # 4934
Finally found the box with the KM’s. Here is one of those M35 SE Kriegsmarine helmets finished to 1940 specs with the single decal and the steel/zinc banded liner. There is its twin listed on the GHW lot number database. The one on GHW is designated a “reissue” but these SE’s were actually originally factory finished to M40 specs. That one has a name painted on the apron near the lot number and the listing indicates that it also has a steel liner. This one is well worn. The liner is a bit rough and the strap is missing but it is a KM none the less. Anyway, here it is. Hope you like it. Jim G.
PS: I didn’t expose the lot # and maker/size stamps - it was like that when I bought the helmet about 25 years ago.
