Hello,
I was offered this snow camo helmet.
I want to know if it is authentic?
Also, if so, what is a reasonable price range?
Thank you in advance

Forget about the first photo.
It is an old cannon from a local VFW.
Sorry about that.
Anyway, thoughts on the helmet?
Can't help on the originality of the paint but if real I love the fingerprint!
Good luck!
Michael
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated
My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them

Looks like a repainted helmet and aged up and for the price it's really up to you but personally I wouldn't go to to much.
The close up of the white reminds me of this crazy M-1 I am in possession of. It has two white boxes on either side and a heart on the front. I don't think the paint is period on the M-1... And to be honest I am not really digging it on this helmet either. Although I am not confident calling camos in hand, much less over pictures. This one just doesn't give me the "warm and fuzzies".
Here's my 2 cents. The wear looks contrived and the rust appears fresh.
Thank you guys.
Perhaps I should pass.
Hi, not one for me mate, does not look like natural wear at all, those great big chunks of missing paint revealing the "untouched" original surface underneath is a huge red flag for me. Also the rim appears to have been "cleaned off" while the paint was still wet (hence the finger print) with a cloth or alike, again the surface paint is clean and untouched and the "wear" lines are to sharp and distinct. Leon.
Personally I would easily walk by this helmet.
