Here is my stirnpanzer that i acquired today,its sounds like a bell when i tap it. The sound, weight, and the way the strap is attached (the nails) make me believe it is orginal. No stamps, but it is absolutely sure that not all were stamped.

I've not seen these before, very cool.

on GHW there are a lot of collectors with knowledge on these.
Lots of fakes about, but this one looks great to me.
