    I have seen this attempt at making an SS lid from what I believe to be an M40. Inside looks original to me, but I have not seen a number like this, although it looks like it may have had the original ground off and this applied maybe. Any thoughts? He is asking $150

    Liner looks original. Shell is repainted. Decals are horribly bad. Pass on this, save that hard earned money.

    Yeah, definite fake SS as you deducted. I need a liner like that though so if it is a 64 and you end up getting it but don't want the liner let me know

    Original shell and liner, "restored" outside. Decals are quite bad fakes.
