Time sensitive please help

I found this helmet online for an auction and I was wondering if it is worth picking up. I have a feeling its a repaint made to look old. The wire is also concerning me. The marriage between the liner and helmet is also kind of off. This is a great website and your opinions help a lot, so any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, I saw this one yesterday on flebay. Look at it objectively and ask yourself if things line up. Fresh rust that is in a run pattern, as if someone is pouring water on it, painted wire, lack of wear in places it should be, 9 finger liner with bad colour and the list goes on.

Made up lid to make a quick buck.
