Today i took a 150 euro gamble, with this one!
German medic helmet

You may have misgambled there. Its a Civil Style Helmet with what looks to be a red ovepaint over the black and under the white, which points towards post war use. Together with the price and the horrible picture quality i tend to... wasted money.

Knowing the exceptions is part of knowing the hobby and knowing your field of expertise.
I bought a Bahnschutz helmet from a local 2nd hand website because a guy on the WAF asked opinions about it. He did not say where it was for sale. I searched it on Google , found it and bought it as they are very rare. That is the difference between knowing something and not knowing.
