Value of M35 DD Luftwaffe Helmet

We don't really do valuations here. A perusal of dealers online will show you what prices various items are commanding these days (be warned - it's a lot!). Unfortunately having being turned into a lamp will have impacted the value of your piece quite a bit.

Regarding the helmet itself, I'm interested in what appears to be the ghosting of a second eagle decal - the result of a re-issue of some kind? Alas, I can't speak to such things, as I'm no expert. Wait for the real helmet guys to opine. Better close-up photos would definitely help.

With the hole on the top of the dome this may have been used as a grave marker. Regarding the 2 Luft adlers, on very rare occasions we come across helmets on which 2 birds were applied at the factory level, the second presumably applied to cover an application error when the first was put on. Or it could be, as already stated by Fiore, simply a reissue. It is real, but there are a lot of liabilities that drive the value down. Jim G.
