It looks good from here but please get a good shot of the decal.
As mentioned, it looks good but a close up of the decal is needed.
The vet inscriptions are interesting and give a good account of his service history if they are legit.

Hi all just sent seller a request for a closeup of the decal.
Their is no infomation on the vet which is a pity but thats history I guess.
Funny, you would think that the guy would have bothered to at least write his name on it since he decided to jot down every place he had been to.
The decal looks good ,liner and shell.
The GI art looks new to me,rust where the white letters are.

Probably done with a few buddies years after the war as the damaged area has patina'd quite nicely before the white England lettering was added. ( hope it wasn't done with a paint texta pen! )
I don't know whether his history adds to it or subtracts ...... after all, beauty is in the eye of the beer holder!!

I like it to pity the G.I didnt put his name to it etc.
The helmet looks fine to me etc we will never know who or when the art was added etc.
