Hmm that is a fair point about customs though. The chances of it being inspected at some point is high, and muggles don't understand us...... I'll avoid the swas on the final version

Maybe you could have a laminated card that travels with the helmet and serves as an introduction to what you are trying to achieve?
"Dear customs inspector .............. blah, blah, blah, yada, yada, yada ........"
Then again, that might just confirm to them that we are all mad!!??
Cool mate
Good stuff

Kinda weird to see it all the way over there now. It's going to be a very fun journey.
I doubt that the customs will be able to look if there is a swas on the lid. After all we are having parcels every month of real German regalia whith swastikas and everything and never had problems before.
The idea with the customade badge is awesome.
I really like that Steve, you have matched it pretty much spot on to one of my final sketches actually. I like the way you have canted the envelope too and pushed it over the edges of the oak leaves.
I'm getting some stripper today to begin, I should have the thing finished by the weekend. We could begin as early as next week I should point out too, that the reason we can get started so soon is that Todd (helmetone) has shown a great amount of trust and sent the helmet to me with no form of payment from my end yet. We are working out a trade but he suggested sending it in the meantime to save time Cheers Todd.
