This one is an original SE64 but unfortunately its a reissue. The chinstrap is missing and both decals have been buffed off. Any help for a value would be appreciated.

The last one I saw here last September - excellent condition, with 100% decals
and a chinstrap was $395 asking price.
Too much for a refurb/reworked helmet, IMO, even though they're WWII
era shells. I bought a Danish 'M40' back in the late 70's for $25. (CDN)

Steve.
I would say $200 at the most for a full decaled reissue helmet in good condition
What on earth? The Norwegian reissue helmet go for that much in the rest of the world? The most you would get for it here is 50-100 pounds. I am thinking of buying one to strip the paint and restore it, but I can never find on at a right time, whenever i find one i don't have the dough.

Looking for militaria from HKB 31./977, HKB 32./977, HKB 38./977 or militaria related to Norway
The one I am redoing at the moment cost me $200 USD. It only has a Norwegian dyed liner though.
Thanks for your responses guys. At least I have a ballpark figure now.
the liner could be restored to the original condition, but anyway it will have some traces of bown color. You need just use acetone or other strong dissolver

Do these Lids have a small hole punched in the front?
norsemen,
My helmet doesn't have a small hole punched in the front but I came across some reissued helmets that apparently did have holes in the front.
phfr, Yes I had read somewhere that some batches of Norwegian reissued lids had this characteristic, It may have been a batch of m35's, On a site like this, with many very smart well informed moderators and viewers, this is probably common knowledge.
