Actually i think there is tarnished silvering left here and there on the pommel while the golden aspect is the brass base of the beast showing .... I am quite sure it is a Customs 1016 model ... Asked for daylight pics without the knot and i'll post them hopefully very soon

Great sword Kurt!
i always remove those polish remains by spraying a bit of WD40 and using a cut down toothbrush (yes again WD40 ) and let it work for about 20 seconds, then wipe it dry with a soft clean cloth.
Works perfectly.
