    That is a beauty. Very ornate .

    Very nice find. It is indeed an infantry officer's degen for German Colonial troops, or Schutztruppe, used in Wilhelm II era. That crown is not the Prussian crown but the German State Crown which was created in 1871 and symbolized the new German empire. I'm wondering about that scabbard though, I don't think it's correct for this sword.
